PYRENEX (Pyrenex) was founded in 1859 as a feather-producing company in San Seve (Saint-Sever) at the foot of the Pyrenee Mountains in France.
San Sebe is a famous region in Europe as a foegra production area, and since its founding, Pyrenex has been producing bedding such as comforters and pillows using bird feathers processed for food.
Growing up in harsh weather conditions at the foot of the Pyrenees, the picked down has very high filling power and produces a highly heat-retaining down.
